Milford Concert Band kicks off season on November 5 at Milford Green Gazebo

The Milford Concert Band (MCB) is beginning its 26th season as the official band of the city of Milford, CT.

Rehearsals are Monday evenings, 7:30 p.m. at the Fowler Memorial Building next to the Library.  The public is invited and musicians of all ages and talents are welcome to come share their talents.  Information about the MCB can be found on our Facebook page.

“The MCB has changed personnel over the years, but the love of good, well-played music and community is what keeps this thing of ours going,” said Duane Berge, beginning his fourth season as conductor.  “The musicians and audiences are wonderful people. I look forward to every performance and the happiness through music we can share.”

Our fall 2017 concerts begin at the Milford green gazebo prior to the Veterans Day Parade on Sunday, November 5th (rain location, Milford City Hall).  It’s local election time, so we will also be performing at the Inauguration on Monday, November 20th.  Santa is coming back to the Milford gazebo as will the MCB and DJ Sheila on Friday, November 24th, followed by the annual “A Milford Christmas” concert at the Milford City Hall, Saturday, December 16th; Milford Senior Center, Sunday, December 17th; and Trinity Episcopal Church in Trumbull on Monday, December 18th.
