Mayor Mark Boughton is excited to proclaim this weekend as Beatles Weekend at the 2014 "Danbury Fields Forever" Festival on Saturday, July 26th at 2pm at the Ives Concert Park. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of The Beatles' arrival in America

Too big for one day

In celebration of the anniversary, the family-friendly event has been expanded to two days, Saturday, July 26th, and Sunday July 27th. Along with 20 live musical acts, there will be Beatles memorabilia dealers, vendors, exhibitors, and a food court.

The Connecticut Beatles-themed music festival will "Come Together" for its third year at the Ives Concert Park at 43 Lake Ave Ext. in Danbury. Doors will open at noon on both days, and the music will continue until 8pm daily. Tickets start at $19.64 and can be purchased at www.Fab4Musicfestival.com. A portion of ticket proceeds benefit the Hearst Education fund.

"Danbury Fields Forever" is presented by Charles F. Rosenay's Liverpool Productions (www.LiverpoolTours.com), organizers of the annual Magical History Tours to Liverpool & London.
