Hackers Attack Israeli Missile Defense

Several internet sources are reporting that three prominent defense contractors, Elisra Group, Israel Aerospace Industries, and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, were the victim of hackers in separate attacks between October, 2011 and August, 2012. Together the contractors developed the "Iron Dome" system, which has been credited with intercepting some 400 of the approximately 2,000 rockets launched at Israel during the current conflict. The hackers are believed to be located in China and the attacks are said to have compromised sensitive documents that detailed intellectual property used in preparation of Arrow III missiles, among other things.
