Trumbull Historical Society in conjunction with the Trumbull Library System’s One Book, One Town series is presenting a program entitled: Transplanted Lives: The History of Back-to-the-Land Movements in America.
Dr. Paul Siff from Sacred Heart University, will speak on the back to the land movements from the early 19th century when industrialization threatened the intimacy of small farming, through to today’s need to get back to nature with farmers markets, farm-to -table restaurants, and community gardens.
