Milford Chamber announces new branding campaign & requests resident input!

The Milford Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce a new Branding Competition. The Chamber is inviting all interested persons from the greater Milford area to design a logo, style guide and tagline that will serve as the visual identity of the Milford Chamber of Commerce.

The logo should be creative, innovative and professional, while also being legible, and should reflect the Milford Chamber's mission to advance the business and local communities. The competition is open to the greater Milford area businesses and individuals and entrants must be in the state of Connecticut.

For the logo development, we recommend entrants keep in mind the logo will be featured on promotional materials (brochures, t-shirts, etc) and across all marketing materials going forward.

The designer of the winning selected branding items will receive compensation in the form of chamber services, which could include: a free Chamber membership (up to $500), a free ad in the upcoming year's business and community directory, two free email blasts to promote your company or events and an enhanced listing in our online business directory.

Interested participants may download the Creative Brief, prepared by the Chamber, that will assist in creative development.

The competition runs through May 26 at 4:30 p.m. All entries must include a proposed logo, a proposed style guide and can also include a suggested tagline. The entries must also be initially submitted as a high-resolution pdf via email with the subject line "Milford Logo Competition Entry" to lgray@milfordct.com. Entrants should provide their complete contact details (name, address, phone number and email) with their submission. After choosing the winner, original files must be submitted as well.
