City of Milford Announces September Employee of the Month!

CONGRATULATIONS to Nancy Rotas Clerk A in the Milford Tax Collector’s Office for being selected as Employee of the Month for September 2017.

As the recipient of the award for the Mayor’s Employee of the Month Program, please join us in extending a warm congratulation to Nancy in receiving this recognition.  After a review of all of the nominations, the Selection Committee unanimously chose her as the winner for her outstanding customer service, dedicated service, and professional and positive attitude.    

Nancy began her employment with the City on December 15, 2008 working in the Library as a Library Aide.  Nancy then began working in the City Clerk’s office on October 19, 2009 when she was promoted to the position of Clerk A.  Then, on June 27, 2011, Nancy transferred to her current position in the Tax Collector’s Office.

Nancy is responsible for collecting and recording tax payments; assisting with delinquent collection activities; submitting information to the Department of Motor Vehicles and Connecticut’s Commercial Recording Division in relation to delinquent taxes; assisting the public with tax inquiries, as well as assisting with various office procedures and duties.

Nancy provides excellent customer service each and every day, and has been commended by Milford residents for her patient and helpful demeanor.  Nancy exemplifies the type of employee the City of Milford appreciates and relies on to provide competent service.  These are just a few of the many reasons the Mayor extends his sincere congratulations and appreciation to Nancy for the outstanding attributes she exhibits as Employees of the Month.
