Star Wars Reads Day Kicks Off Educator Appreciation Week at Barnes & Noble Milford

Barnes & Noble Milford will celebrate local educators from Oct. 11 to Oct. 19 during Educator Appreciation Week. All educators are invited for light refreshments and giveaways on Saturday, Oct. 11, 1 to 3 pm. Those with valid Barnes & Noble Educator Discount cards will receive a 25 percent discount on both professional and personal purchases. Applications for the discount program will be available at cash wrap and the discount will be immediately effective.

To kick off the event, we invite all local children to our third annual Star Wars Reads Day on Sat. Oct. 11 at 11 am. We will have a costume parade with prizes, storytime and crafts.

At noon celebrate the recent publication of the American Girl ’Beforever’ books with related activities and a discussion of the new book series. No registration is necessary.
