Chowdafest, presented by Stop & Shop, is New England's largest chowder & soup competition and YOU'RE the judge. Head to Sherwood Island on Sunday, October 2 from 11am to 3pm for a memorable and delicious event!
Come grab your spoon, ballot and pencil, then experience unlimited sampling from 40 award winning restaurants stretching from manhattan to Maine with every New England state represented. Your votes will determine New England's best clam chowder, the best Manhattan and Rhode Island clam chowder, the best creative chowder and the best soup or bisque. Your participation will help us raise funds to provide over a half million meals this year for the hungry!
Chowdafest is more than just chowder and soup. Experience freshly baked artisan breads, sauces and soups in our Italian section called "Ciao"dafest. Sample gourmet chips and salsas in our ChowdaMex section. Sample farm fresh milk, ice cream, cookies & cheese in our Sweet Treat section plus try incredible juices, sparkling beverages, teas, yogurt drinks and more in our Beverage Bog. Kids are king at Chowdafest from being able to vote to free kids activities. We'll see you there!
