As thoughts turn to summer, it's time to plan out your summer reading!
Check our online catalog for the latest bestsellers and beach read favorites! Beginning in July, the Adult and Children's Departments will be open Tuesday-Thursday evenings until 8:30, so that you can easily stock up on weekend reading and movies. Our special programs this month include a talk on hiking the Appalachian Trail, an informational seminar on solarizing your home, and a new initiative sponsored by our Friends of the Library, 1000 Books Before Kindergarten.
This program supports and encourages parents to instill a love of reading in their children by sharing and reading 1000 books before their child reaches kindergarten. Talk with our Children's staff about registering! As always, we will also be hosting craft and technology programs, story times, anime club and more!
