New resource available for CT government facts, statistics

There is a new resource for Connecticut residents interested in obtaining or exploring facts and statistics regarding the Connecticut and its government.

The new website is called Connecticut Open Data and it provides hundreds of statistics and graphs on different categories relating to our state, including information on business, education, transportation and the environment.

This website was produced as part of an on-going effort by the legislature to create more transparency between you and your state government. The website serves as a great tool for anyone who is interested in obtaining government data or learning more about our state.

State information can be found by visiting www.data.ct.gov.

Please visit www.repbetts.com for news and commentary on the latest happenings in the 78th Assembly District and at the State Capitol.

If you have any questions, concerns or ideas please feel free to contact me at (800) 842-1423 or emailwhit.betts@housegop.ct.gov.
