Massachusetts Man Arrested for Human Trafficking in Milford

On August 27, 2015, Milford Police Department received a phone call from the Lawrence Police Department in Lawrence MA. They advised MPD that a female had been kidnapped and a ping of her cell phone put her in Milford in the area of Motel 6, 111 Schoolhouse Rd. Lawrence PD had been notified by the female’s boyfriend who had received text messages from her stating she was being held against her will and treated like a sex slave.

Investigation revealed Barry Davis (36) of 7 Lord Baron Park Lane, Burlington MA, had picked up three women in Massachusetts and after several days of providing them with Heroin and Cocaine drove them to Connecticut to act as prostitutes. Two of the females had done this service before, stating they did it out of fear of Davis. The third female who made the text messages to her boyfriend was not a willing participant in the prostitution, which prompted the police action.

During the investigation Davis was found in possession of both Heroin and Cocaine.

Davis was charged with Unlawful Restraint 2nd, Promoting Prostitution, Trafficking in Person and 2 counts of Possession of Narcotics. Davis was held on $250,000 bond.
