Drug Bust at Local Hotel Leads to Arrest by Milford PD

On November 2, 2015 at approximately 9:20pm the Milford Police Department received a suspicious activity complaint from the Howard Johnson Hotel, 1052 Boston Post Road Milford, CT in room #191.

During the course of this investigation it was determined that a male had been shot in the buttocks by a known assailant during a robbery in the same hotel room.

In conjunction with the FBI task force and Statewide Narcotics Task Force, the Milford Police Department was able to secure an arrest warrant for Bryce Barnes (B/M, 22) of 206 Malcom Road in West Haven, to whom the hotel room was registered to.

The following items were seized from the hotel room: 48.7 grams of marijuana, small plastic packaging baggies, 2 bundles of heroin and 13 bundles of Oxycodone among other items.

Bryce Barnes was located and arrested on February 1, 2016. Barnes is charged with the following: Possession of Narcotics, Possession with Intent to Sell, Possession of Marijuana, Possession with Intent to Sell, Conspiracy to Commit (4 counts). Unable to post his court set $100,000 bond Barnes was transported to Court on February 2, 2016.
