In a combined effort, members of the Connecticut State Police Statewide Urban Violence Task Force (Gang Unit Task Force), the Bridgeport Police Department, FBI Safe Streets Task Force, and ATF Task Force, executed two Search and Seizure warrants at 425/427 Wilmot Avenue Bridgeport, Ct. (multi-family residence) resulting in an arrest, and the seizure of narcotics, firearms, and stolen property.

The Gang Unit, ATF and FBI Task Force, and Bridgeport Police Officers initiated the investigation as a result of numerous shootings that have occurred over the past year in the East end of Bridgeport.  Through the course of the investigation, Investigators determined that a vacant house on Wilmot Avenue was being occupied by known gang members.  Investigators found that the known gang members took control of the vacant residence and were running an illegal narcotics operation out of it.  Along with the sale of illegal narcotics, stolen property was accepted, often being traded for the narcotics.

Upon the conclusion of this several month-long investigation, Investigators applied for and were granted a Search and Seizure warrant by the superior court.
