Milford Police Charge Trumbull Resident with Stalking, Breach of Peace, Burglary

On June 4, 2017, at approximately 2:30am Robert Rubino (W/M, 23) 14 Mohawk Drive, Trumbull, entered a Milford residence looking to make contact with an ex-girlfriend who was not at home at the time. Rubino was found by a different family member and asked to leave.

At approximately 3:00am the female returned home and stated she had been followed by Rubino leaving a restaurant earlier in the evening and that Rubino had attempted to block her vehicle from leaving the area, so he could talk to her. The female was able to drive away and left the area.

When the female searched her bedroom she found that items were damaged and a purse was missing. Family members stated this was not the first time they have found Rubino in the area of their home attempting to look around and make contact with the female.

On June 22, 2017, Rubino was taken into custody by Milford Police.

Rubino is charged with the following: Stalking 2nd Burglary 2nd Breach of Peace 2nd Unlawful Restraint 2nd Rubino was held a $50,000 bond to appear in Milford Court on June 26, 2017.
