On August 28, 2017, at approximately 4:45am Milford Police responded to the area of Hawley Avenue and Usher Street on the report of a male and a female going through vehicles.
Officers arriving on-scene made contact with 19 year old Jacquelyn Novak of 6 Vernon Court, Milford and 20 year old Benjamin Sumner of 39 Hubbell Place, Milford who were found to be going through the vehicles in the area. Sumner was found on-scene, Novak had fled the scene on police arrival but was located a short while later.
Novak and Sumner are charged with the following: Burglary 3rd (2 counts) Conspiracy to Commit (3 counts) Criminal Attempt Larceny 6th (2 counts) Novak and Sumner were held on $500 bond to appear in Milford Court on August 28, 2017
