Criminal Use Of A Firearm Arrest in Milford

On September 17, 2017, Milford Police were notified by CT State Police stating that they were involved in a motor vehicle pursuit and had the vehicle stopped in New Haven.

CSP determined that the vehicle occupants were involved in an altercation where a firearm was displayed and possibly discharged and that the events had started in Milford. Detectives responded to New Haven and it was determined that Ronald Dumas (B/M, 27) 500 Main Street, East Haven and Clayton Bostic Jr. (B/M, 27) 986 Whalley Avenue, New Haven had an altercation with two males in the area of Daniel Street and High Street earlier that evening. Dumas and Bostic followed the men in their vehicle from High Street to the area of Boston Post Road and Cherry Street at which point Bostic then discharged a firearm at the male’s vehicle.

The victims were able to provide CSP information on the offender’s vehicle, which led to their arrest in New Haven and the seizure of two firearms from the suspects vehicle.

Dumas is charged with the following: Conspiracy to Commit Unlawful Discharge Conspiracy to Commit Criminal Use of a Firearm Conspiracy to Commit Reckless Endangerment Bostic is charged with the following: Conspiracy to Commit Unlawful Discharge Conspiracy to Commit Criminal Use of a Firearm Conspiracy to Commit Reckless Endangerment Threatening Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm Criminal Use of a Firearm Reckless Endangerment Press Release Both Dumas and Bostic posted $25,000 bond to appear in Milford Court on October 10, 2017.
