Milford Police Stolen Motor Vehicle Arrest

On September 21, 2017, at approximately 3:45pm Milford Police were notified of a Stolen Motor Vehicle that was just taken in Orange.

Milford K-9 Officer Napoletano observed the vehicle traveling South on I-95 at a high rate of speed along with a separate vehicle following and weaving thru traffic. Officer Napoletano followed the vehicles from a distance and observed them get off of I-95 at exit 32 in Stratford and enter the parking lot of Cumberland Farms. Officer Napoletano then activated his overhead lights and sirens and made contact with the occupants.

Investigation led to the arrest of three juveniles and Ronny Aviles (W/M, 18) of Bridgeport. Investigation also showed that the second vehicle, which Aviles was located in, had been reported Stolen out of Newington and contained a pellet gun, ski mask, and marijuana.

Aviles is charged with the following:

Larceny 1st

Conspiracy to Commit Larceny

1st Weapon in a Motor Vehicle

Possession of less than half ounce Marijuana

Aviles is held on $25,000 bond to appear in Milford Court on September 22, 2017
