In October 2017, Milford Police received several complaints about possible illegal towing of vehicles. Investigation showed that on October 1, 2, and 3, 2017 motor vehicles had been towed by Steve’s Auto, 219 Naugatuck Avenue, Milford. The vehicles had been towed without anyone asking for the vehicles to be towed and subsequently the vehicle owners were overcharged to get their vehicles back from the company.
Representatives from Steve’s Auto, Nicole Berg (W/F, 24) 219 Naugatuck Avenue, Milford and Stephen Verity (W/M, 27) 43 Stoddard Place, Beacon Falls were developed as the responsible parties involved in the towing of the vehicles and are accused of the below charges.

Larceny 6th Berg and Verity were released on Promise to Appear in Milford Court on February 6, 2018.
