Yesterday Fairfield County's Giving Day smashed its 2015 goal and raised a total of $1,066,091 (14,022 gifts). Donations from March 5th totaled $960,991. Sponsorships from their prize pool totaled $105,100.

Several of New Canaan's most cherished non profits were included: Staying Put, Filling In The Blanks, Strays and Others, ABC Of New Canaan, New Canaan Outback, CARES, Historical Society, Summer Theater, Land Trust, Carriage Barn Arts, are all part of this event.
- Carriage Barn Arts - received 42 gifts which totaled $1,814
- The Silvermine Arts Center received 70 gifts which totaled $3,355. Plus a $1000 prize from Bank of America.
- Strays & Others won the $1000 launch prize!
