I'm extremely proud of my Scottish roots. My Father is from Aberdeen, fondly known as the "Granite City", and when I was young, our family would regularly visit our relatives in the highlands. My maiden name was Davidson and our family motto is "Sapienter si sincere", meaning "Wisely, if sincerely". Burns Night is celebrated by Scots around the world, commemorating the life and cultural contributions of Scotland's National Poet - Robert Burns. Robert was born on January 25th, 1759, and suppers are hosted annually around that date.
On January 29th, at 7pm Boulevard 18 in New Canaan are throwing a very special Robert Burns Dinner. Join Alex Meier-Tomkins, Whisky Guru for Slocum & Sons Importers & Spirits Merchants and savor a sumptuous four-course menu, created by Chef Raymer.
