Ghouls and Goblins, oh my! New Canaan's Halloween Parade on Sunday October 29

The New Canaan Chamber of Commerce invites you to the 36th Annual Halloween Parade! Families are invited to head to the park Street Lot (behind Elm Street) at noon to show off their costumes and enjoy New Canaan’s own School of Rock performance of some spooky tunes. New this year the New England Academy of Dance will put on a special performance of “Thriller”. The first 500 Trick or Treaters will be given a pre-filled Goody Bag with treats from local businesses.

At 1:00 PM The Cast of New Canaan High School’s upcoming performance of Bye Bye Birdie guided by Old Faithful will lead the costumed marchers down Elm Street where many local businesses will be outside their store handing out Candy!!

 A New Canaan Tradition- The Halloween Parade

  • 12pm – Booths open with fun activities
  • Balloon Animals sponsored by Pet Pantry Warehouse
  • Goody Bags Handed out
  • Meet Marshall from Paw Patrol
  • Live music thanks to School of Rock! And a live Performance of “Thriller” by the New England Academy of Dance
  • 1pm – The parade begins!

The parade kicks off from the parking lot proceeding the corner of Park & Elm. It then travels down Elm St to Main St, and loops back up Elm St (closed to vehicular traffic).
