Baldanza Café is Taking over Upstairs

Business is booming for Baldanza Café, so much so that the bustling organic café located off Elm Street in New Canaan, Connecticut has taken over the second floor of the building. Owner Sandy Baldanza says: “We currently have limited room, a large number of staff and a loyal clientele so it made complete sense to takeover upstairs. When we heard that the dentist was relocating we didn’t hesitate.”

The Baldanza family share a passion for creating all natural, delicious meals for the discerning diner. All ingredients are organic and local when available. Baldanza is run by Angela, husband Sandy and their son Alex. Angela will remain the front of house during the day with Sandy and Alex taking over the evenings.

Sandy says: “The additional space will be used as an auxiliary kitchen to produce our Baldanza Soups. In addition to the test kitchen, the second floor will act as an office and extra storage - giving our team more room to work downstairs and improve the service”.

Baldanza Soup Kitchen is part of a line of delicious ‘to go’ products - from wholesome soups, to natural sauces, juices and prepared meals made to satisfy your body and feed your soul. With every soup sale Baldanza will give 2% back to Connecticut Food Bank.

Baldanza Café currently accommodates 50 inside with an outside patio seating a further 25. They are available for takeovers and private parties. The future looks bright - Angela was recently in the spotlight having won Food Networks Cooks vs Cons.
