Christopher’s Coffee Corner Opens in New Canaan

Following Labor Day Weekend, six-year old New Canaan resident Christopher DeMuth will go seasonal and transform his lemonade stand business into Christopher’s Coffee Corner! The mason jars of freshly squeezed lemonade have been safely stored away until summer 2015 and replaced with organic house blend cups of coffee - made from the finest Guatemalan, Brazilian, and Sumatran beans. Customers are welcome to get their coffee fix from 7:30am until bus 19 arrives around 8:35am and once again it is for a good cause.

Commuters in a rush can drive through and take their coffee to go. Alternatively, families are welcome to park in the front driveway so parents can drink gourmet coffee while waiting for the school bus. While Christopher will brew the coffee, he would like to thank Doug Zumbach, owner of Zumbach's  Gourmet Coffee, for his help in all aspects of the business. He helped him select the blend, roast the beans and taught him about coffee beans and brewing. Christopher is extremely grateful for this generosity from a real coffee expert and connoisseur.

Christopher’s Coffee Corner is donating a percentage of profits to the New Canaan Fire Company No. 1 for the purchase of new rescue equipment.

Editors Note: I think what Christopher is doing is absolutely fantastic. He is smart, showing off great business skills, while learning news ones. It's not just about making money but actually making something happen, while  donating to a good cause. I hope he inspires other kids to be creative and adds a gourmet Hot Chocolate with Marshmallows to his repertoire during the winter. Keep up the fantastic work Christopher!
