New Canaan Library is pleased to host a presentation by members of The Korean Spirit & Culture Promotion Project, who will discuss and demonstrate the many unknown treasures of the Korean culture. Steeped in history yet teeming with innovation and potential, Korea is an amazing country to learn about and explore. The culturally enriching presentation will include a viewing of a DVD about Korean history and culture along with a demonstration of the traditional Korean wedding ceremony, in beautiful traditional costume. Presenters will explore the art history and scene of Korea with a display of works of art, including paintings, objects, and ceremonial costumes. Following the program, the presenters invite all to immerse themselves in the culture with the serving of traditional Korean meals.
