The Community Service Club of New Fairfield is holding a prom dress drive from now until February 28th .
The dresses are being collected for the “Pretty for Prom” dress sale that will take place on March 21st, 2015 at the New Life United Methodist Church in New Fairfield. Ideal donations include long and short party/formal dresses, special occasion shoes, fancy jewelry and other accessories.
Proceeds from the Pretty for Prom event will go towards CSC projects such as the Kids Dress for Success and Amber Alert programs, as well as scholarships. Donated items are being accepted at One Stop and Superior Cleaners in New Fairfield, Pioneer Cleaners in Danbury and Savings Bank of Danbury in New Fairfield. The dry cleaners are offering a $10 dry cleaning special for any donated dresses that need to be cleaned (prepaid please).
