Help a New Fairfield Resident in Need

Susan has been with the New Fairfield Volunteer Fire Department for over 20 years; first as part of the Ladies Auxillary then, once that disbanded, she moved on to become a volunteer. She has taken multiple classes, has become an interior firefighter, and is the EMS Lieutenant.

Susan is a very dedicated member to the NFVFD and also an outstanding citizen to the town of New Fairfield. She attends nearly all of the drills and classes that the fire Department has, and you will always find her cleaning up even if it isn't a clean up night. On Friday and Saturday nights, when most people go out to party, she will be at the firehouse doing paperwork or out doing calls.
Her passion is helping people. No matter what time of night or early morning it is, Susan will sign on the air to help out on an ambulance call. I am only guessing, but I would say that she has assisted close to 10,000 EMS calls over her time as an EMT, though she is still going strong. I am asking that if you have been a patient of hers, or if you are a friend or family member of a patient that she has helped, or her friend, or a supporter of the EMS/Firefighters, that you help her in this time of need.

She is going to lose her house if she doesn't pay back taxes and needs our help.

Any donation amount will do! Thank you to everyone who helps her out.
