Danbury Youth Services Collects Used Bikes for Wheels for Kids Event on December 13

Have a neglected children's or adolescent bike taking up space in your garage? Even one that's a little broken? Donate it to WHEELS FOR KIDS on Tuesday, December 13 from 3-8pm, and make a local child's holiday bright!

Danbury Youth Services is once again collecting used bicycles to be repaired and spruced up by our young volunteers, then donated to Santa's Workshop at Dorothy Day Hospitality House as gifts for local children.

"We are seeking trikes and bikes (ideally 20" or smaller) to be dropped off at Rogers Park Middle School on Tuesday, Dec. 13, from 3-8 p.m. VOLUNTEERS ARE ALSO NEEDED at that time to help with repairs," Danbury Youth Services explains.

To volunteer, or for more information, please contact Joseph Dobbins at (860) 375-4376 or earnabike.dys@gmail.com.

Thanks for helping our kids to help others.
