The Women's Center Gala Raises More Than 200K & Honors Local Law Enforcement

The Women’s Center Annual Gala, honoring local law enforcement in thirteen communities, raised more than $225,000, allowing the Center to continue their mission of serving the needs of individuals, families and the community with prevention, crisis intervention and support services for those impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault and other major life crises.

Co-chaired by Women’s Center board member, Vicki Taylor-Block and Laura Becker, the evening featured a lively auction, thanks to auctioneers Allison Stockel and i95’s Ethan Carey. The music of Dean Martin, performed by crooner Jack Lynn, brought life to the theme, “An Evening Together”.

More than 300 Gala attendees celebrated and thanked the following local law enforcement agencies for their service to the community:

  • Bethel Police Department

  • Brookfield Police Department

  • Danbury Police Department
