Join DAWS for the 28th Annual Walk for Animals on June 11 in Bethel

On June 11th, Danbury Animal Welfare Society (DAWS) will hold its 28th Annual Walk for Animals at the Bethel Municipal Center Lawn. This event gives individuals and families the opportunity to come together and celebrate their love of animals while raising funds to help save lives.

The Walk for Animals is a non-competitive, leisurely walk through downtown Bethel that provides the perfect opportunity for the whole family to enjoy a day outdoors while supporting a great cause. Walkers, both two-legged and four-legged, can take advantage of all the fun the Walk offers, including:

  •       T-shirts and bandanas for all walkers
  •       Contests and prizes
  •       Raffles
  •       Vendors
  •       And more!

All participants in the Walk for Animals are encouraged to set up their own personal fundraising pages and raise money to support DAWS. Raising just $100 through personal fundraising efforts means that DAWS will be able to continue to provide safety, shelter, and hope to cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies who are in need of loving forever homes. More information about setting up a personal fundraising page can be found at daws.org/walk.
