In honor of breast cancer awareness month the MOPS Mom's Group of New Fairfield will be welcoming a special speaker on Tuesday, October 22nd at the New Life United Methodist Church, 1 Beaver Bog Road.
Lorraine Albert R.D.M.S, Site Manager and ultrasound technologist of Northeast radiology will be speaking on the importance of a mammogram, including additional testing such as a breast ultrasound and MRI's along with sharing some self exam tips. The views that she will present will be those of the American Cancer Society. It is important for all women of all ages not only Mom's to be educated on their health but to also know the testing that is available.
