Campus Safety Discussion at Grace Farms June 28th

This August, millions of high school graduates will move into college dorms across the U.S. For many, it will be their first time away from the security of family and home. According the Association of American Universities, 25 percent of women and 8 percent of men who participated in a major survey of 150,000 students, reported being sexually assaulted during their college years.

Students and their parents are invited to join a conversation with a panel of experts, including Annie Clark who was featured in The Hunting Ground, the acclaimed documentary about the reality of sexual assault on college campuses, providing advice and tips for students about making smart choices and enjoying college life while keeping themselves and their friends safe. This Campus Safety Program will be held at Grace Farms on June 28 from 7 to 8:30 pm. The event is sponsored by Grace Farms Foundation and the New Canaan Domestic Violence Partnership. The program is open to the public. A limited menu will be available for purchase at the Grace Farms Commons from 5:30-6:30 pm.
