Art from the Inside projects on display are inspired, created and brought to life using items most of us throw away. Medium represented include paintings, pencil drawings, wire and soap sculptures.
Art from the Inside will be on display through March 18, 2017 and open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
“We’re pleased to partner with the FCI to bring these pieces to the attention of the public. It is wonderful to see the ingenuity and creativity that the inmates possess. We support the efforts of the FCI to foster a creative outlet and means of expression for those currently incarcerated,” said Brigid Guertin, Executive Director of The Danbury Museum & Historical Society.
