Wood Turtle Day
Saturday, May 27 (1 PM- 4 PM) at Great Hollow Nature Preserve, 225 Route 37, New Fairfield, CT.
FrOGS (Friends of the Great Swamp) and Great Hollow are co-sponsoring a celebration of turtles.
Come learn about turtles and tortoises from around the world, meet 200-pound African tortoises and turtles that call our back yards home. Three turtle specialists will give presentations on topics turtle conservation, rehabilitation, and an overview of the species that live in our area. Free and open to the public.
