Portuguese Day in Danbury is Sunday, June 4

Portuguese Day in Danbury, CT is Sunday, June 4 from 8:15am to 9pm and you're invited! This annual celebration is sponsored by the Portuguese community in Danbury.

The event will begin at 8:15 am with a flag-raising (American and Portuguese) at the monument honoring the late John Perry at the John Perry Soccer Field in Rogers Park.

A Holy Mass at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (149 Deer Hill Ave) will begin at 9:00am. At the conclusion of the Mass, there will be a Parade and remarks from City Officials in front of Danbury Library. 

Enjoy a festive picnic at 12:30 pm at the Portugueses Cultural Center (65 Sand Pit Road) with traditional foods, drinks games, dancing, inflatables and more!
