Danbury Music Centre still has tickets available for its 50th Anniversary Nutcracker Ballet with performances Friday, December 8 at 7:30, Saturday, December 9 at 2:30 and 7:00 pm, and Sunday, December 10 at 3:00 pm. All performances take place at Danbury High School.
The Danbury Music Centre's production of Nutcracker is unique in our region because it is accompanied by the Danbury Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Ariel Rudiakov, who play Tchaikovsky's score, live.
This production, directed by Arthur Fredric of Brookfield, features over 200 dancers and musicians from the greater Danbury area. Mayor Mark Boughton reprises his role as Mother Ginger.
