The Connecticut Food Truck Festival will be held TODAY and TOMORROW from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the North Haven Fairgrounds located at 300 Washington Avenue in North Haven, CT. The admission cost of $5 per person also includes parking. Seniors and kids 17 and younger are free. Part of the proceeds will be donated to local food banks. Because the festival will be taking place at the fairgrounds, no alcohol or pets are permitted. Many of the trucks will also offer portions at reduced pricing to allow you to try them and have room to buy from other trucks. Most trucks take cash only, some take cards.
Among the approximately 50 trucks expected are Aurora's Gypsy Cafe, Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Truck, The Buzz Truck, DiSorbo's Bakery Truck, Four Flours Bakery, Fruit Whirled, Gotta Q BBQ, Lobstercraft, Local Meatball, Mamoun's Falafel Truck, Pierogies on Wheels, The Spud Stud, Tampa's, Vanchetta and The Whey Station. In addition to the variety of food, there will be bands, a retail area, crafts, and artisan vendors.
