Skin cancer screenings will be conducted at The Praxair Cancer Center at Danbury Hospital on Tuesday, May 16th from 6 to 8 pm and Wednesday, May 17th from 6 to 8 pm. Danbury area board-certified dermatologists will conduct the screenings with support from clinical and allied health staff. The public is invited and encouraged to take advantage of this free service.
Skin cancer screening is encouraged if you have risk factors for skin cancer, never had your skin checked for skin cancer, and want to learn more about preventing or recognizing skin cancer. No pre-registration required. Screenings take place on a first come, first served basis. To ensure that you will be seen, please plan to arrive by 7:45 pm.
Please note – these are screenings only, no treatment will be provided. Participants are asked to park in the Red Parking Garage on Locust Avenue and enter through the Danbury Hospital Stroock Building Entrance. For questions, please call 203-739-7898.
