Michael Allman, Charles Neville, Jeff Pitchell: A Night of Rock and Roll and The Blues

A Remarkable Combination

Every once in a while, you get a combination of musicians who have recognized achievements on their own. And when combined… their unique talents create an unforgettable show! Such is the case with Michael Allman, Charles Neville, and Jeff Pitchell. On Saturday, November 29, this remarkable combination is coming to the Palace Danbury.

Now This is a Group to Hear

Michael Allman, eldest son of Gregg Allman, (American rock and blues, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer) not only sounds like his father, he looks like him as well! Michael is an original songwriter with a distinctive style of rock, root and the blues. He performs his own original songs as well as covering some of the Allman Brothers greatest hits!

Charles Neville, the sax, flute and vocals man from the world famous Neville brothers, aka The First Family of Funk, has a Grammy Award and gold/platinum records from six different countries. His ethereal performances at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival have earned him an invitation to return there every year. Charles has performed on the “The Today Show," "Oprah," “Saturday Night Live," "Tonight Show," "Letterman," etc. He has performed with Ray Charles, James Brown, Santana, The Grateful Dead, and the list goes on.

Jeff Pitchell has a 26-year career as a blues-rock guitarist and vocalist. This past February he received the Best of New England Music Award. Jeff blends Stevie Ray Vaughan, BB King, and Jimi Hendrix with his own soulful, superb vocals. His song "Eye for an Eye" won an International Songwriting Contest  and was recently recorded by the legendary John Mayall. Jeff has performed with just about everyone on the circuit— from The Allman Brothers and BB King, to J. Geils and Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead.
