In Loving Memory of Larry Penna

Lawrence J. Penna, 61, of New Fairfield, CT died unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 18, 2015. He was the husband of Erika (Shepherd) Penna.

Larry, a grandfather and vintage car enthusiast, and his wife Erika were heading east on the Grand Central Parkway when he abruptly steered their Toyota Prius to the left after clutching his chest, crashing into a median near 95th Street about 4:50 PM on Thursday, March 19th, according the NYPD and family. Penna, who ran Pool Spa Doctor in New Fairfield, was pronounced dead at New York Hospital Queens, police said.

Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, Mar. 23, 2015 at 11am at Walnut Hill Community Church, 156 Walnut Hill Rd., Bethel, CT. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.

Friends will be received from 1pm – 5pm on Sunday, Mar. 22, 2015 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT.
