Do you want your son to become more confident, explore the outdoors, help your community and have fun at the same time? Then Cub Scouting is the program for you and your family! Cub Scouts is a family and neighborhood program designed to support and encourage character development in boys. It is a FUN and exciting program that helps boys to:
- Develop physical and creative skills through sports, crafts, music and games.
- Learn how to get along with others and show respect for home, country and community.
- Develop mental skills such as writing, planning and problem-solving.
- Develop confidence, personal independence, and leadership skills.
- Learn to make values-based decisions and always "Do Your Best."
New Fairfield has two awesome Cub Scout Packs! Visit Cub Scout Packs 137 & 142 in the Meeting House Hill School Cafetorium from 7pm to 8pm on Tuesday, May 19th to learn more and to sign your son up for Cub Scouts. The evening will allow you to meet current Cub Scouts, their leaders and Cub Scout families. Your son will be able to try out some fun scout activities. Current kindergartners to 4th graders are welcome!!!
