Proud New Fairfield Resident Is Grandmother to Connecticut's First Kid Governor

This past November, Elena Tipton, granddaughter of New Fairfield resident, Denise Lewis, was elected the first ever Connecticut's Kid Governor through a pilot program created by Connecticut’s Old State House.  Tipton, who ran on a Campaign for Kindness platform, was selected from hundreds of student entries from across CT.

You can visit Elena’s website to see her 3-point plan of action, her video messages to her constituents, and links to her Kindness is Kool blog where she will share ways we can all be kinder to others. Everyone is invited to join in the Campaign for Kindness movement and help make our world a better place.
