Doris Cuminale
Doris (Leo) Cuminale, 87, of New Fairfield, wife of the late Emilio Cuminale and the late Frank Leonardi, died on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Danbury Hospital.
Mrs. Cuminale was born in the Bronx, NY, May 4, 1929, a daughter of Lawrence and Letitia (Salerno) Leo. She attended NY schools and was a homemaker.
A resident of New Fairfield for the past five years coming from Southbury, CT to make her home with her daughter Rosanne Gagliardi, Mrs. Cuminale enjoyed sewing and cooking. She was regarded by her family as a wonder woman since she always found the time and strength to help everyone she knew that needed a helping hand.
Entombment will follow in the Shrine of Memories Mausoleum of Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, NY at 12:15 pm.
The family will receive friends in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9-11 Granville Ave., Danbury on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 5 pm to 8 pm.
