Police Re-Release Sketch of New Fairfield Home Invasion Suspect

The Connecticut State Police have re-released a sketch of a Resident Burglary/ Assault suspect. 

On September 25, 2012 at 10:00 AM, the suspect broke into a home on Newfane Road in the Ball Pond area of New Fairfield, CT near the New York state line. 

According to police, a woman interrupted a burglary in progress and was assaulted by the suspect who then fled the house. 

He is described as a black male, 5'8" - 5'10", medium build, in his 20s - 30s. At the time of the incident he was described as clean shaven, medum complexion with a broad nose/ large nostrils. He was wearing a navy blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers. He is a possible cigarette smoker.
