Waterbury Voyeurism Arrest
On March 17, Connecticut State Police Western District Major Crime detectives began investigating after a victim reported they were being extorted by a woman in Waterbury, CT.
Detectives identified Fatin Ward/Fatin Ahmad as the suspect. Ward/Ahmad posted several ads on Backpage.com and resulting in the victim contacting Ward/Ahmad for dominatrix services. The victim reported that Ward/Ahmad videotaped the victim in compromising positions and threatened to release the videos if the victim did not pay her the amount of money she was demanding.
Through the course of the investigation detectives applied for and were granted an arrest warrant by the superior court.
