Police have identified the victim of a fatal accident that took place on Sunday at the intersection of 85 and Route 39. Police say that 42 year old Ulysses A. Nunez of Lexington Ave, NY, NY died at the scene after her vehicle hit a utility pole and burst into flames.
According to the police report, the passenger, Victor Deciet Jr of Rochester, NY was transported by New Fairfield EMS to Danbury Hospital with serious injuries.
Police say this remains an active investigation.
