Kent Food Bank Donations for Feinstein Challenge Continue

The Kent Food Bank has accepted the Feinstein Challenge, the "17th Annual $1 Million Giveaway To Fight Hunger" by Alan Shawn Feinstein.

The amount of monetary and food items received by the Kent Food Bank from March 1st to April 30th will be recorded and reported to the Feinstein Foundation which will in turn divide one million dollars proportionately among all participating agencies.

Food donations can be dropped off at the Food Bank on Friday mornings (Community House lower level) or at the Kent Town Hall during regular business hours. There is also a donation box at the Davis IGA for purchases made there. Monetary donations should be made payable to the 'Kent Food and Fuel Fund' and mailed to Kent Social Services, P.O. Box 678, Kent, CT 06757.
