Attend the talk, “Beyond Bird Feeders: Attract Wildlife To Your Garden Year-Round.”

Learn to attract feathered friends and other wildlife to your garden. Discover which plants are magnets for birds, bees and butterflies. Understand the special benefits of using native plants. Gain tips for careful fall garden cleanup that preserves natural food sources. Finally, learn which seeds are best to nourish and protect our local bird species during cold winter months. 

Participants receive a helpful resource sheet for plant shopping and further reading. All ages welcome.

Class taught by Michele MacKinnon, a UCONN Advanced Master Gardener from Sherman, CT who enjoys sharing her gardening knowledge with others.
