Gov. Malloy: State Launches New Website and Mobile App to Better Connect Veterans to the Benefits and Services They Have Earned

Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that, as residents across the nation are preparing to celebrate Veterans Day, the State of Connecticut has debuted two new digital initiatives to assist the more than 200,000 veterans who live in the state in an effort to better connect veterans with the information on benefits and services that are available – a redesigned website for the Connecticut Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), and a newly launched smartphone app.

The DVA’s new website – located at www.ct.gov/veterans – greets users with a cleaner interface and presents information in real-time for veterans who are searching for the services and benefits offered through the agency. The website is also self-adjusting to the various electronic platforms users may have, resulting in a seamless transition from computer to mobile device.
