Local Authors Book Signing at The Bakeria

Local authors Carol Paterno and Doris Tomaselli will be at The Bakeria, 9 East Main Street, in Pawling, NY, on Saturday, September 24th, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The duo will sell and sign limited, first edition hardcover copies of their children’s book, Slippery Soap!, published by Daffodil Press.

OOPS! It’s a madcap adventure—but clean, bubbly fun—when a bar of slippery soap goes on the run… This delightful story unfolds in tongue-twisting rhyme accompanied by zany, watercolor illustrations by Doris Tomaselli. The story, sure to make you laugh (confirmed by early reader reviews), can be read to very young children and suitable for young readers up to age 10.

Doris Tomaselli is the author of 10 children’s books, including Fisher-Price bestsellers, “My Little People® Farm” and “My Little People® School Bus.” She’s designed, art directed, and painted/illustrated more than 100 others. She’s also written a biography, “Ned Anderson, Connecticut’s Appalachian Trailblazer/Small Town Renaissance Man,” published by the Sherman (CT) Historical Society.

Carol Paterno is a music educator, singer, and writer, whose talents made for the story’s polished rhythm and rhyme.

Special purchase price is $20, which includes applicable tax. The book is also available on Amazon and Daffodil-Press.com. For news and events, follow Daffodil Press on Facebook.

The Bakeria offers sumptuous and delectable custom-made sweet treats for all occasions and is open seven days a week. Saturday’s hours are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. For more, visit The Bakeria on Facebook.
