WCSU to host ribbon-cutting ceremony

After much planning, designing, building and anticipating, the moment has arrived. On Thursday, Sept. 4, at 10:30 a.m., university officials will hold an official ribbon cutting for the new Visual and Performing Arts Center at Western Connecticut State University.

The event will be in the West Lobby of the new 130,000-square-foot building on the university’s Westside campus, 43 Lake Ave. Extension in Danbury. This special event is free and the public is welcome to witness the official induction of the center into the university campus and community. A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
